The revolution starts here
After wandering in the wilderness for years artistically,and agonizing over 'validity,' and alienization from contemporary art shibboleths,I felt utterly bereft and isolated.Then I thought...F..k it!!I'm going to paint what I love and immerse myself in the sensual and magical properties of paint and Nature.With uncanny concurrence I found this podcast.If you are alone in your studio,with nothing but a dripping tap for company,and a dog howling in the distance,and your staring with savage incomprehension at your canvas,thinking ''whats the point?'',then listen to this podcast.It is an absolute joy.A wonderful mixture of seriousness and irreverent banter.Lets face it,as artists we can disappear up our own 'fundament'sometimes,so its refreshing to hear the pompous bubble being pricked!These fellas really know their onions too,so the questions are always probing and insightful,and crucially you sense the guests are having a blast too.So,listen to this.....then go and paint what you damn well LOVE!!
