“This is a really charming podcast. Slate was founded by liberal columnist Michael Kinsley and was, I think, the first online opinion journal. The political gabfest reflects its excellence. John, David, and Emily are certainly liberals, but not of the knee-jerk variety. The gabfest is thoughtful and intelligent, but also a lot of fun. You get the feeling that these folks really enjoy each other's company, and the way they play off of each other is really quite lively. “Slate is a great magazine and the disscussion on this podcast only examplifies the high quality of the show. I find the discussions very insightful and I really enjoy listening to their conversations. Keep it up! Perhaps a biweekly podcast would also work well, 30 minutes a week is too short.”
