“The negative reviews are bewildering - especially the ones that complain about the format sounding like neighbors just chatting. Who are your neighbors? Mine are ridiculous. In any case, it's called a "gabfest" for a reason.
Other reviewers seem to be confusing this podcast with Slate's Cultural Gabfest. I find this confusion hillarious.
If I should complain about anything it's that it isn't quite long enough, 5 or 10 extra minutes could help them from feeling forced to move on from a topic just as it's getting good ...that part feels a little hectic.”Read full review »

“An interesting podcast for political junkies. The 'cocktail' feature at the end is a bit tedious. Also, Emily Bazelon has a penchant for sounding like a 15 year old Valley Girl, although others may react differently. Those two minor criticisms aside, the discussion is actually pretty good.”Read full review »
