I was just catching up on my past downloaded episodes of gabfest, having lots of time on my hands as a Chrysler worker. I don't recall the the tittle of the gabfest that I was listening to because I fast forwarded through it after hearing that GM was going down because of the UAW. The fact that CEO and management pay right now is over 400 times what workers on the floor make, up from 28 to 30 times what workers made 30 years ago. It's very easy to repeat what the rich say because they have a bigger megaphone and they pay better than workers ever could. The way the UAW in it's members are portrayed you would think those numbers were reversed. This I think is a big problem in America now days. Productivity goes up we get the chance to work harder, the boss gets a pay raise and a bonus. From 28 to 30 times back in the 80's nowadays 400 times a workers pay. I wonder what a real news media would be like. I do remember 60 Minutes in it's hayday, they fought hard to get to the truth. Sadly, I beleive the news media in this time has lost it's way. Better to follow the money, because as the past 30 years has shown, you and I know where the money is going.Read full review »

Don't agree with much of what they have to say even though I'd consider myself on a similar part of the political spectrum. Some items treated very superficially. They should pick less topics to...Read full review »

This podcast is consistently informative and entertaining. The chemistry amongst the podcasters is good, and their knowledge is broad and well-expressed. Even when I disagree with one or all of them, I love to hear them discuss -- or argue -- the topics of the week.
