The sound quality needs to be addressed. The interview with Nancy Pelosi is difficult to follow because of the abominable sound quality.

love this podcast but the latest episode on swing states was so hard to listen to as a nevadan. learn how to pronounce nevada PLEASE!!! you sound dumb. also nevada and arizona are not “the south” and georgia and north carolina are not “the sunbelt”. those are not interchangeable.

Jonathan Freedland is simply one of the best and most insightful political commentators around. Politics is seldom nuanced, but Freedland sifts through the shock tactics and soundbites to find a balanced and realistic view.

It’s Been a mystery to me for years : why doesn’t anybody Seem to Care about the fact that Trump (and Orban and Farage, le Pen etc) actually have followers ? How come the left is only interested in the fact that they (Trump etc) are so and so crooked, crazy, manipulating and dangerous ? Perhaps...Read full review »

The episode was full of potential problems with Kamala and her VP Pick. Thanks to the US interviewee who pushed back against the inaccurate mainstream narrative, eg Kamala is too progressive, her VP pick has lost the young vote, Kamala will lose the momentum… it’s depressingly familiar

Propublica just broke this story of their investigation: Trump is using his media company to allow rich donors to buy a piece of Trump and reap the benefits in the form of government contracts and tax breaks if he gets elected again. The investigative reporting connects the new “Trump TV” to a...Read full review »

I understand the need to seem neutral when presenting the news, but Ronna McDaniel shouldn’t be able to catch a break, she was (and still is) an election denier! One doesn’t have to actually believe something as baseless as tRump’s pathetic, self serving Big Lie about the 2020 election,...Read full review »

I can’t say enough about how fabulous this podcast is. Jonathan Freedland is superb, and his guests are among the most knowledgeable. Such a refreshing change from most of US podcasts which are heavy on bluster and hype.
