Enough of “for me…”
If I am interested in the film or the show, I will listen in to the podcast. I don’t always agree with them, but I get a good idea of it. One thing truly drives me crazy, however: it is how many times the reviewers say , “but for me…”, or “to me…” Yeah, we understand, if you are speaking, it is your opinion. One could easily have a drinking game listening each week. Just take a shot every time you hear one of those phrases.

I have to say, I really missed my NPR movie podcast and had some apprehension at the start. I have changed my tune. LOVE this podcast. Glad I kept listening because it opened me up to things I might not have known otherwise.

As I listened at first, I thought... a little on the giddy side? I had been expecting more NPR-serious. Then I relaxed into and started appreciating.
