First Crushes
My first crushes were “Will” from Land of the lost (the character, I mean; I didn’t even know who the actor was at the time) and Woody from the Bay City Rollers who I was introduced to via the Krofft Superstar Hour that aired Saturday mornings. But then I fell head over heels for Kristy McNichol, and apparently I wasn’t alone. I really enjoyed the recent “girl crush” episode! I love this show so much. It brings back a lot of memories, yet even when it’s a topic I’m not as familiar with, it’s still funny and interesting because the hosts are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Would definitely recommend this to Gen Xers who want an entertaining walk down memory lane … or really, anyone who loves pop culture from the early ‘70s to the early ‘80s.
