“I was so happy to find a podcast that was doing a detailed exploration of Normal People, especially 2 women, since so many of the voices in TV podcasts seem to be male. But wow, the contempt for this show by one of the hosts is down right odd and off-putting. I’m great with critical analysis, etc., but this is crazy over the top. What’s the point if you aren’t even open to another person’s point of view who liked the show and has equally well thought out opinions on it. I get the feeling it’s one of those “I will hate anything that’s not the book” situations, which is unfortunate and makes unbiased analysis of the show impossible.”
