The “hot guy” is actually a repressed gay, if you think about it.

if you’re going to spoil plotlines to completely separate shows WARN US to skip ahead. Just wrecked a major plot point of a separate show. Not cool.

LOL … these ladies sound like they hit the blunt right before they recorded the podcast…

I really liked their recaps of episode 5-7 of tell me lies, but i listened to their recap of 8-9 today and it was horrible. they barely spent any time talking about the actual show and instead reminisced about their own college days. They also have no real outline to their podcast which is not...Read full review »

You really need to seek additional information on speaking about Queer issues if you are going to put it out to the public. When you say I was trying to figure out who had the man role and who had the woman role about females in a relationship..... omg. If a movie does a good job writing these...Read full review »

Too many tangents and hardly a mention of the title material. Did they even watch the show they talk about? It’s like overhearing that mundane boring conversation going on at the table for two next to you at the crowded cafe. I gave it 15 minutes. Blood came out of my ears- so I stopped.

Who are these two idiots. These two bird brains spent the entire time Talking about how bad I may destroy you is all negative. I honestly feel like they’re pandering to the male perspective. Nothing but criticism I honestly spent the entire time imagining what it would look like if a truck drove...Read full review »

I came to change my review! I decided to keep listening and things changed! I think the first 2 episode review wasn’t well! However it’s gotten great now.

I LOVE this podcast’s concept. Unfortunately I got lost in the Episode 1&2 segment because one of the hosts kept get stuck on trivial complaints that weren’t that interesting. I’d rather hear criticisms that give some new insight into the substance of the story’s themes, characters, etc. The...Read full review »

I was so happy to find a podcast that was doing a detailed exploration of Normal People, especially 2 women, since so many of the voices in TV podcasts seem to be male. But wow, the contempt for this show by one of the hosts is down right odd and off-putting. I’m great with critical analysis,...Read full review »

I was so excited to see a multi episode review of Normal People. It started out good enough then it turned into a “massacre”. One of you was lovely and gave an informed review. The other one of you sounded so incredibly ignorant. What year is it? Who cares 😂 What were they doing when they were...Read full review »

Carinn and Kate are so smart. Their podcast is a joy. They’ve introduced me to pop fiction— sally Rooney!!!!— and they have changed the way I consume women characters and creators. What a wonderful way to spend time with these great women and their complicated subjects.
