“Recently, my infant had pneumonia symptoms; the on-call nurse at our holistic pediatrician had us go to a Cook Children’s urgent care… initially they checked vitals, asked if he was vaccinated (he’s not), and instantly found a small bruise on his head from daycare. After that, she explained how our child may have a blood disorder and we need to immediately go to the ER. No further evaluation was done. Later that night at the ER, the doc explained how to UC doc wrote a workup for child abuse and neglect to CPS at the hospital. After speaking with our pediatrician the next day, we found that Cooks has been targeting parents that do not vaccinate their children. Just wanted to share our horror story and give thanks to you for what you do!”
