Like the reviews, hate the analysis of symbolism
If you want to know a reference to "twinkle twinkle little star," stop looking to nucky. There is no solid history as to the first video broadcast, in the early mid thirties there were actually two competing forms of "television" one was mechanical, I forget the name of that form because it failed, the second was the electro-scan method used by Filo Farnsworth, the classical Cathode Ray Tube that we, of an age all remember. HOWEVER! the "twinkle twinkle little star" reference is an actual historical reference, just not as it applies to television, it's the very first recording made by Thomas Edisson on the first wax cylinder of the very first phonograph.Read full review »
