The Lee Jordan of the real world
The only problem with this podcast is: I enjoyed it so much that I shunned society in order to catch up as quickly as possible a few weeks ago. Was finding myself giving WAY too much input to the discussion as a listener. Another indicator that I have 0 self-control, I intended to read the books along with with the podcast but found myself at the end of Deathly Hallows yesterday. Guess I'll have to read them again! One of the best parts is hearing him speculate who the perps are or what is going to happen with side-plots like the Skrewts. Cannot wait for more episodes. If I were to give criticism, one or two of the guests were a little "weaker" as actual fanatics (ie one made it seem like they hadn't read the certain book since childhood/had only read it once or something and I'm like "dude you're talking crap about this chapter but it's actually VERY important even though it seems a little superfluous and and I know you're not supposed to give things away but you should at least cryptically nudge Schubert to take notes while also bringing the sass.. you're supposed to be a HP super-nerd!") but it was actually fine because it got me super involved in my internal listener commentary😂.Read full review »

If you're even mildly into Harry Potter, you HAVE to listen to this. I recently reread all seven books (for the first time since childhood) and had several of the thoughts expressed in this podcast. It's a fun, snarky book club without the pressure to read stuff on time. Maybe chill out...Read full review »
