Meh
This podcast isn't terrible (I'm on episode 19 and still listening to it), but it's definitely not something to write home about. I will admit that I do have a long-standing love of this series and so I am likely biased, but I do think I'm open to humorous approaches to the series. I discovered this podcast through a fellow listener of Potterotica (now THAT is a funny podcast!), and was quite excited for yet another laugh out loud podcast about the wizarding world, but that is not what I have gotten. I have not once laughed out loud. I can count on one hand the number of times this podcast has even made me crack a smile. Most of his gripes just come off as snarky and petty and easily disproved with a quick Google search. Also, for a 25 year old man, he seems sadly naive about how the world actually is (in fact, slavery is still very much a problem, dude!) I think this would very much be improved if he had guests that were even more knowledgeable about the series/world as a whole and that could answer/address his questions/complaints and have a more in depth discussion about the series and not just a Mean Girls style crib notes (except even that would be better because Mean Girls is actually funny.)Read full review »

I love this podcast! Listening to it during boring commutes and chores, making those tedious tasks fly by!

This podcast is amazing. Excellent premise and amusing guests. Plus Schubes is hot. Like watch-him-dance-in-his-kitchen-all-day hot and he has the voice to match.
