“I have never left a negative review on a podcast. I really hope you consider reading my constructive criticism.
I listened to your episode about using your bike to commute to the store and work. You guys started giving fake statistics that most people live around 7 miles away from their work. You also stated that if you don’t live near your work, then you should move closer.
Really?
I thought this podcast was about being frugal. Look at property prices, and rental rates. It is way more expensive to live in a city (which is most likely where your job is), than in a suburb or rural area.
Say you live 40 miles away from your job. Rent is HALF of what it could be if you lived in a city. That still might only be a savings of around $200 a month in fuel, but does that really offset the cost of the high rent or property costs?
I understand being environmentally conscious, but you need to step outside your city life and gain some real experiences. Ask somebody that lives in a rural community what they might do to save money.
And no, just in case you were wondering, I didn’t vote for Trump.
I will give your podcast another chance, but I hope you consider this review the next time you try to understand who your audience might be.”
