More heat than light
I agree entirely with what other reviewers have said about the quality of the format and effectiveness (or rather lack there of) of the hosting (both by Evan and now by Rosie). However, I am moved to write this review because of the new offering of just the Power Panel section. It is far and away the worst segment, and I cannot fathom why anyone would want to listen to only that. The panelests (mostly regulars) are frequently rude, condescending and talk a lot without saying much of anything. It is only the media personality who regularly offers any insight (frequently that is Jennifer Ditchbern). Generally there is a focus on presentation over substance on Power and Politics, and the Power Panel segment is where this bad impulse is given free reign. I used to be a daily listener, but now simply cannot bear to listen at all unless there is some topic of special interest.

I can’t enjoy a...Read full review »
