“I wanted to like this podcast because I listen to too much US news. But this podcast… you’ve got an interviewer eager for a gotcha moment and a professional politician giving the most milquetoast answer possible. It’s just “answer the question.” “you didn’t answer the question” “I’m making a note that you didn’t answer the question”. Ugh. I’ll just re-listen to Rachel Maddow being charming instead. Seriously - learn from US news shows that keep these interviews short and interesting and willing guests long.”
