“American Christendom was hijacked back in the early twentieth century by the fundamentalist movement (among others). Here, surivvors fo that movement talk about their stories and their experiences and what interests me most of all, is how many common threads are found in each podcast. Things repeated, themes emerging, from people who don't know each other.
While the debate rages on whether or not IFB is a cult, it does often times suffer from cults of personality. Jack Hyles being one of the biggest cult leaders the movement has ever known.
