Double Codex Review - Tenth Edition Adeptus Mechanicus and Necrons
Listen now
Description
It’s a double event! Two codexes have dropped, and we’ve got one episode to get through them both. Can we do it? We certainly try! In this episode, we take a look at the two newest codexes with two very different takes on technology – worship it, or be it? The Adeptus Mechanicus have had a rough go in 10th Edition with arguably the weakest detachment rules – does this new codex give them the tools they need to field multiple viable armies? Meanwhile, the Necrons have had a bit of an oppressive, endlessly-regenerating playstyle this time around – does their new book rebalance them to be more interesting and give them more ways to play? More importantly, do these codexes sound enjoyable to play with and play against? Listen to find out what we think!
