Good info
In grad school learning about maternal and child health and watching documentaries about how epidurals and pitocin affect your body my friends and I decided natural (or unmedicated) birth was what we wanted. Fast forward to actually being pregnant and hearing other friends labor and after birth experiences WITH medication- I wasn’t sure if I was woman enough to go through with childbirth and labor. I stumbled upon this podcast to help me decide what I wanted for my first birth experience. The first two episodes were hard to hear. The details gave me phantom pain but after taking a break (and learning hypnobreathing exercises) I’m able to truly build up my confidence that I am capable of having my best birth. Thanks Cortney and Stephanie for your candid, informative conversation. I already have made decisions about my plan and am interested in belly binding! 😊

This podcast has been super helpful in preparing me for whats to come. Being a first time mom to be I have found this to be real, raw, and non opinionated. It has eased a lot of my worries I had first becoming pregnant.

I’m a first time mom and I had a friend recommend this podcast to me when she found out I was planning a natural birth. I love the content of all their episodes and I feel so reassured that I can do this! 10/10 recommend!
