Breastfeeding & Homebirth
I found this podcast very informative and educational. I do appreciate the well rounded format of the discussions - some are very conservative like planned c-sections and some are very progressive like the attachment parenting concept and the profound idea that one Pediatrician shared about having young women age 6-12 present at vaginal births so they learn that this is normal. Information on homebirth should be a bigger part of this podcast. Information that birth is normal and safe and not a medical condition that is in need of a hospital or intervention of any kind should be a topic. Info that breast milk is anti-bacterial and can be used to prevent infection should be added to the breastfeeding segment. My 1 year old avoided having an 6 inch skin graph on a 3rd degree burn due to the continuous application of topical breast milk to the burn. He has never been immunized and his miraculous healing is a direct result of his immune system that has never been compromised by vacinations. Vacines should be a future topic for this podcast. For first time moms,...Read full review »
