“I'm a history professor and though I was not expecting some sort of high brow, intellectual treatment of the life and times of each President from a podcast, I did expect more professionalism from the Post. History can be really entertaining when it is told the right way, but this almost sounds like a joke with the juvenile delivery and the 'would you date this guy' questions. Also, just for the record, Thomas Jefferson was a Democratic-Republican not a Republican (a party not formally organized until 1854). He was indeed a republican with a small 'r', but as a political party, Democratic-Republican was a far cry from Republican with a capital 'R'.”Read full review »
