Smartly, stupidly funny
I've binged this podcast over the past week, listening to almost fifty episodes. Best synopsized as 'Small town Missouri Cops vs the Elder Mythos' its about a game of Delta Green where three barely trained, barely competent police officers are thrust into a rapidly spinning spiral of lovecraftian lunacy as cults, conspiracies, the mafia and bizarre artifacts tear their town apart. Despite going so immediately off the rails it transfers from train to jeep 4X4, the podcast never gets much off topic and the episodes are tightly edited. The humor is great and the atmosphere is suitably creepy, with the players and GM taking the game at the appropriate mix of levity and investment. A high achievement of character arcs and plot progression. And of course Wolf the Dog is the best DJ who only plays Kudzu with No Back Bone!Read full review »

I told my friend all about this show, and when asked to describe it, I came up with the following. ‘This show is what would happen if the X-Files had a baby with Reno 911 and Mulder and Scully dropped the baby off in Mayberry.’
