I can tell they are forced to do it, also tooo many ads

I’ve watched you both for years so it hurts me to say this but you guys have become so out of touch with reality and everything just feels like a recycled concept at this point 😔

I’ve been diving back into Pretty Basic HARD lately. This most recent episode about reaching out was scarily too accurate to what I’m experiencing in life right now. I value this episode so freaking much like more than I think I’ll ever know. I just wanted to deeply and oh so sincerely say thank...Read full review »

I love their personality, and the conversations they have. I’ve listened to every single episode!

Such a fun listen, Alisha and Remi have a great dynamic and cover so many topics that keeps each episode new and interesting.

It pains me to write this because I care for both of these girls, but I’m having such a hard time relating to their privilege and lack of nuance. Of course it’s good to be positive and try to spread joy, but read the room a little and be mindful of the audiences that you are influencing please....Read full review »

You guys. The way I have listened to all the past episodes this summer. I LOVE Pretty Basic. The banter between Remi and Alisha is 🤌😘 perfect. Please continue this podcast forever and ever <3

Not terribly informative in terms of useful insights into dealing with dating apps…. How many times can 2 people say ‘i’m like’, ‘you know’ and interrupt each other & squeal with whiney laughter.

I have been debating listening to this podcast for a while now, and I’m not sure why I didn’t click play until now. I have listened to a couple of episodes and I will say that this podcast is not for me. I don’t believe this is because of Alisha or Remi, I just can’t relate to being an influencer...Read full review »

Your July 13 ep circling the idea that influencing is dead was cringeworthy. The way you spoke about VidCon was like, very… unbecoming, I’ll say. Yikes.
emcat206 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/12/22
I’d rate this podcast 5 stars, but I really dislike how often Alisha says ‘Yeah’ or ‘Yes’ when someone else is speaking.

girrrl stop cutting Rem off:D love you two Update August 2022, alisha you still do thisss and take most of the episode🤪

savannah. byers via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/09/22
Their conversations are pretty fun to listen to! Even so, I don’t think I’ll continue to keep up because there are a lot of ads and sometimes multiple sponsorships in each podcast that interrupt the flow of the conversation. I understand they want to make money off this show but It’d be nice if...Read full review »

I wondered if our conversations at their ages was as dull and witless. I think only if they had been broadcast.

I’m new to your podcast and I’m loving it. I was so happy to hear you two using the We’re Not Really Strangers card game. Months ago I bought a game like this geared to increase intimacy in relationships and I swear it should be named How to Destroy Your Relationship in Five Minutes. Every card...Read full review »

These two are sooooo out of touch of reality & act like teenage spoiled brats. All y’all’s personality is, is capitalism & How to make profit. Everything Alisha talks about is money, making money or turning depression into content? How disgusting & really shows what kind of ppl they...Read full review »

Alisha please don’t make depression an aesthetic. It’s great to talk about it but be serious. You’re doing it more for content (content baby content). Making content of you crying and making fun that you’re missing serotonin isn’t funny. It’s getting annoying how you use depression for content....Read full review »

I say this as constructive criticism-Alisha I think you’re drinking too much caffeine before recording. You cut Remi off SO often.
ARL810 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/06/22
Please don’t think your stupid for venting your depression it’s relatable and one of your best podcast episodes!! I can never tell the difference between your two voices they sound so similar! Alisha get on Effexor and geodon those worked for my depression

I just wish Alisha would open up more (she has been influenced by Remi in a BAD way) and Remi needs to act more mature, they r kinda annoying at times They both r selfish and need help

This is literally my favorite podcast and it is the only one that I listen to and that I like, to all the haters writing bad reviews- back off like you can have that opinion but you don’t need to put others down sharing it, you don’t understand what they are going through so then don’t make a...Read full review »

Sorry, but this last episode was cringe. Complaining about being burned out while earning a high salary at 20 something years old was definitely not relatable and quite insulting to the listeners who are out there working traditional jobs and busting their butt while earning a laughable salary.
ambie222 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/18/22
This last episode was nothing short of entitlement and being spoiled. Alisha people work so hard to even slightly be in the position you are in and never get there. Being jealous masked as mental health is so weak to me. Literally Kim people are dying!

This podcast is what got me into podcasts in the first place but I feel like over time they’ve just run out of things to talk about. The influencer podcast is so annoying. Hearing you all talk about how necessary it is to have someone order your food or tie your shoes for you is ridiculous. Acting like influencing is the hardest job ever just comes across as vain and out of touch.

This has been one of my fave pods for a few years, and I’m still a fan, but the recent eps have been kinda lacking. TK and Alisha giving advice on being “self aware”… they need to listen to this for themselves lol Alisha is so unaware of herself and TK is just a mini version of Alisha. We need Remi back asap. I used to really love this podcast
MarisaFuentes97 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/11/22
Your audience doesn’t care about tips to becoming an influencer or being in your business. Those episodes are so out of touch and cringe. Love remi though. I can tell she’s a sweetheart and good friend
