“I was on vacation during your last cast and only heard it moments ago. Ashamed to admit this is my first review, yet listen weekly.
I felt as though God had prepared this just for me...(I know that sounds selfish). However, you nailed a most basic & common problem, "don't just satisfy the expectation of man, but strive to please the one we are truly working for, driven by, & blessed by. The one who gave some much creativity, and some of us little... Our Lord & Savior. I feel blessed to have PCT's ministry available. I even have my recently developed media team also listening.
I fit the mold you described, aptitude to learn it (A/V) yet not fully comfortable. You as a resource is like the Kingdom's media ministry pinpointing the left upper goal corner, nailing the penalty kick. Allowing many, many churches to become better teams and even champions in the media ministry. May God continue His obvious blessing on your ministry.
What's the best way in getting those leaders around us to grasp the time involved in producing our best?
Yes, I did hear the interview with the Pastor in early Podcasts. That was excellent, yet different. The need is understood, the appreciation seems genuine, but the ignorance of what it takes in manpower suffocating.
Perhaps there is no clear, concrete answer. Yet I needed to ask someone whose been there before me. Since God has obviously placed you as Mentor to the Masses (scary thought I know), I'm hoping for a true 2b_ ism (ok, Brady_ism, in case you don't like my subject line),
