“I have been a Beatles fan since they first came to America. Plus I’ve been involved in songwriting, recording, producing, both television and record albums for nearly 40 years.
I also had a band as far back as 1971. That all began with the Beatles. I know a lot about the subject and I’ve heard things and read stories about the Beatles and their recordings that are just wrong. That’s why it’s so refreshing to listen to this well done, well researched, podcast.
I’m impressed by both the material and the program itself. Obviously the material as well researched (recordings have been dug out and edited to explain the subject matter). But The program itself, it’s professionalism: it’s narration, it’s organization, it’s quality, is top-of-the-line! I guess you can tell that I’m very impressed.
When we find a gem like this we need to let others know because these podcasts are the beginning of a new chapter in the entertainment business. These short, interesting, well done audio documentaries are the root of something that will be a new and much greater entertainment resource in the future.
In any event, music fans, Beatles fans, recording enthusiasts, and anyone who works in a recording studio would benefit and be entertained by listening to this podcast.
