“I heard Jimmy Falun Gong twice on the Opperman Report and I found he was a wonderful guest who had lots to say about interesting topics. However the episodes of Programmed to Chill that I’ve checked out have just not grabbed me at all and I ended up bailing on each of them before getting half way through. I guess I’m someone who prefers a presentation that is a bit more..prepared..? Too much hmmming and hawing, you gotta tighten things up! And I reeeally hate to say this next thing but here goes:
Jimmy could seriously use lessons of some sort to make his speech more pleasant to listen to and engaging. He just sounds sorta…drippy. And that goes quadruple for his guest Khalid (from Subliminal Jihad) I just get turned off by the way he speaks for a number of different reasons. I don’t think either man has any idea how he is limiting himself by being careless about tone of voice and other speech mannerisms, and I imagine there are very few people around them who are going to want to risk discouraging them by saying anything about this. So in a desire to help I am just being blunt here. I think Jimmy and Khalid could be fantastic..if they made some changes.”
