Morally Bankrupt
After listening to The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill, I was excited to hear Cosper’s reporting on the Holy Land. What an incredible disappointment. I listened to four episodes, hoping it would get better. It didn’t. He does not question a single Israeli talking point but badgers the very few Palestinians he interviewed. The whole thing is built to generate as much sympathy for Israel as possible and either whitewashes or ignores every bit of wrongdoing on the Israeli side. Having visited Israel/Palestine just last summer, it’s incredible to me that anyone could visit the region in-person and remain so blindly one-sided. Worst of all, this production clearly believes itself to be fair and balanced, and has tricked a lot of listeners into believing the same. I am embarrassed as both a Christian and an American.
