Food history and science with the ATK storytelling style
My household has subscribed to the Cook’s Country and Cook’s Illustrated magazines and website (respectively) for several years now, so I was excited to hear about a podcast made by the group. I’d never really gotten into podcasts before, but the announcement of Proof got me to give the concept a try. I’ve gotten through the Tiki episode, and have so far enjoyed every second of the show. It seems well researched, with interviews to bring in experts and people involved in the backstory of whatever is being discussed. Most importantly for me, it brings in the wonderful storytelling that I’ve loved from the Test Kitchen. As you listen the overall flow it keeps you interested and engaged, eager to hear the next part and even leaving you curious about things that you might never have considered before (such as trying a mai tai even if you’ve never been fond of rum). If you enjoy food history and science, I’d highly recommend giving this podcast a try.

Love her and her team’s imagination when coming up with topics. Not typical food themed shows! Please keep coming up with superior content!
