Room for improvement
I found this to be a good effort by ATK but unfortunately not quite there. Has the annoying faux naïveté of Serial with some of the lack of street smarts seen in the “NPR Ladies” SNL skit... I think it needs to find a unique voice, pick up the pace, assume its listeners are a bit more savvy (seriously, we know artificial flavors are made in a lab! That could have saved 30 minutes on the Beanboozled episode), and tackle topics that feel more relevant.

Did not expect to like this so much but it was super interesting! Can wait for the next episode. I will say there was quite an apparent biased against celery lol... I love celery! Favorite way to eat it (besides in a Bloody Mary) is with peanuts :)

I love the stories related to food. Fights over ketchup, mysteries of Mai Tai's from years ago, and celery vases. I love the obscurity of thes topics. But I love even more, that by merely listening to these stories, I'm compelled to source a mai tai, agree that ketchup is not needed...Read full review »
