You two are the absolute best and I am so with you in your somewhat complicated love of Rom-Coms from nostalgia but also navigating their cringyness! You’re both so funny and there’s an infinite amount of Rom-Coms I want to hear your hilarious and thoughtful takes on❣️I hope you’ve just been busy...Read full review »

If you like (or love) rom coms, this is the podcast for you! One of the best things about this pod is that Allie and Mia’s genuine love for these movies shines through, and you never feel like they are rolling their eyes or scoffing at the genre. Also they are both so funny and seem truly kind...Read full review »

For a while I didn’t always want to share how much I loved watching rom coms, even the bad ones, but this podcast has made me feel so much better about it. Love Ali and Mia and how much they enjoy watching these movies. Thanks ladies!

I love this pod! I laugh SO MUCH sometimes that people stare at me on public transit. I love thinking about what heroine I’m channeling every week. Thank you for such a great show!

I feel like I’m talking to my best friends about these movies that I LOVE! I always skip the first 15-20 minutes, the “Which Rom-Com Heroine Are You Channeling This Week”. It’s not my personal favorite but after that segment the podcast really kicks off and is TERRIFIC! Lots of fun facts and trivia.

This show is so fantastic and charming. The hosts are two of the sweetest people on this gosh darn planet and should star in the next wave of great cinema rom coms. All flattery aside, this is a wonderfully entertaining show and these two are just the best.

Allie and Mia are so delightful and have great chemistry. They talk about the classics as well as newer romcoms. They have reminded me that I actually am a romcom person and that romcoms are important for the culture. So fun and love the details pointed out of each movie!

Remember that scene in that 80’s movie Dirty Dancing where Swayze is teaching Baby dance moves and he is talking about the beat of it? “Ga Gum, Ga Gum” This pod is that Good!

This show’s format is perfect. I love that we get a discussion of each movie, an examination of the tropes, and then a test of whether some of them work in real life. It’s a really fun way to explore how well classic rom-coms hold up today.

I will be fully honest, I first started listening to this because some my friends are on this and Mia is my friend. Call me bias but I don’t write reviews for all of my friends podcasts. This is a well structured podcast and while I love rom coms, I think even if you didn’t, you would gain a new...Read full review »

P.S. I LOVE THIS PODCAST. As a huge fan of rom coms, I was already in, but especially during the times we’re loving in, I especially needed a happy listen. Very fun and funny hosts who go in depth on the campy Rom-Coms I love.

I love how the hosts and guest use the Rom Com of the week as a starting point to talk about romance and comedy in their own lives. They don’t hesitate to point out the flaws in the movie and laugh about how the traditional tropes may not have aged well, especially in rom coms over 20 years old...Read full review »

This podcast isn’t what it’s supposed to be. The description is misleading. It makes it seem that the hosts actually like these movies. During the discussion they just whine about the movie and “typical rom-com tropes.” They also complain about the ways women are portrayed in movies like these...Read full review »
