Brining their backgrounds together for TV laughter is the best!!

I tuned in to listen to Love is Blind and I’m sure the show is fine, but I can’t sit and listen to dogs barking and whatever else was going on in the background. Occasionally maybe, but after a couple minutes I can’t listen to that anymore unfortunately.

I am a mental health professional myself. The sister who is a lawyer is often much more forgiving, thoughtful and can see the world in shades of gray. The sister who is a therapist has an edge to her that would make a client feel invalidated just by listening to her review and judgement of cast...Read full review »

These women are sharp and well-rounded. I look forward to listening to their perspective on the dysfunctional but lovable Brown family. I especially appreciate their pluralistic viewpoints—making space for those who believe differently than you. Love!

Stick to the recaps. We don’t need your ignorant history and medical lessons. We all have opinions and the right to them, but I tune in to discuss the Browns and not politics.

How could a therapist not have heard of the McMartin preschool trial? These 2 are the dumbest people whoever tripped over success I’ve ever heard of. Unreal.

Could not listen-first love is blind episode- too distracted by the background noise.

I really enjoy listening to these fabulous sisters. They lend unique perspectives to one of my guilty pleasure reality shows as well as topical documentaries. Thank you, ladies, for your blend of thoughtful and hilarious commentary.

1. Stop saying everyone is on ozempic. People can fluctuate in weight for many reasons. It’s odd to assume that they are all taking ozempic. You say no judgement, but that seems very judgy. 2. Use your legal and psych expertise more- it would offer a unique perspective- you are missing out on...Read full review »

Overall, I really enjoy the podcast and find it to be an easy and engaging listen. However, I found the latest episode (Season 19, Episode 3 of Sisterwives) a bit challenging. It felt more judgmental than usual, and the political comparison they made didn’t quite make sense in the context. I...Read full review »

Thanks for a thorough review of the show. I really enjoy your prospective. I do not always agree however it does cause me to think about it in another way. I am boycotting the show as I thinking it needs to come off. However, I can not stopping plugging into the train wreak of their lives. You...Read full review »

Came over from a different podcast they were guests on & was looking forward to reality show recaps. But they got two basic facts wrong not even halfway though the episode, and misgendered someone on top of that. I expect accuracy from two people with a lot of formal education; maybe they...Read full review »

I have been listening to this podcast for a while. I’m not always in agreement to their views but I’m completely lost on the opinions concerning Scott Peterson. I get it and agree, his trial was not great but ugh, the support for him is disgusting and disappointing.

I really enjoy their Sister Wives reviews. But I was really disappointed with their very long defence of Scott Peterson. They listed alternative possibilities for a list of pieces of evidence they deemed lacking credibility. I was interested in the episode because I assumed it would be a...Read full review »

I really enjoy their perspectives and recaps. But is there not some sort of vocal training or modulation exercises that the one sister can take? Her voice is pretty hard to listen to. Some days I have to listen for a bit and then take a break before finishing the episode.

Doesn’t come from either a psych or legal perspective so not sure why they assert that’s their angle. They are often unprepared and don’t know any of the details of what they are talking about. And they don’t have the humor of other podcasters to carry them. Kind of feels like a boring dinner...Read full review »

Just when I thought I couldn’t listen to more Sister Wives recaps I found these gals - I like their humor and observations of the ridiculousness of the Kody Brown Family. WHY are there 7,000 individual servings of food rather than a buffet??? For crying out loud.
Youlookfamiliar via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/09/24
I don’t know why people are saying these gals don’t have the humor of other podcasters, they crack me up! It’s like listening to my mom and aunt chat in the most lovely way possible. They’re not trying to crack jokes, but I find their takes to be super entertaining. I’m hooked!

I I love the variety of shows from Sister Wives to true crime. I also appreciate their willingness to do research on topics like Karen Read where others have phoned it in. Tess and Brooke are like friends you meet with a couple times a week and discuss your favorite shows.

Love the perspectives and content but there is clicking in the background that can be heard every 10-30 seconds and it is clearly one of the hosts clicking while on the computer which I hate. Feels as if the host isn’t listening.

I do listen to their Sister Wives reviews and do like Tess a lot. Brooke always sounds so bored and like she doesn’t want to be there. It’s kind of offputting. But I do listen for Tess and her review of the show which is really fun to hear her take on Kody’s narcissist mind.

Meh
I started listening a few weeks ago after hearing them on other podcasts. They do not hold up in comparison to their peers. They rarely reference their “psych” and “legal” aspects. They lack the humor that keeps us coming back to Ace and Caitlin or Corey/Carly. The last sister wives recap I...Read full review »

I love getting the perspectives of a therapist and an attorney on the reality tv train wreck. This is something no other podcast has to offer. Love this podcast!

I like the podcast. I think they judge people too much for two sisters who seem so liberal, but it’s still a fun listen. They spread a lot of misinformation about the LDS. Still funny.

I so want to like this podcast. The premise is brilliant, and I’ve listened to almost every episode. But you two have lost me with your very casual and deeply harmful comments. I will listen occasionally and like it fine but your season 3 ep 1 podcast bothered me. As someone who’s had multiple miscarriages, people should tell WHENEVER they want. A miscarriage is devastating. Why shouldn’t a woman have support? Why should it be hidden like a shameful secret? Having the...Read full review »

Come on! Not only did he dye his hair, he also had money, camping supplies, a survival kit. He was running. He got home from fishing and washed his clothes! What man does that? Why would the robbers take Lacey with them? If they killed her, why not just leave her there. Taking a pregnant woman...Read full review »

I really tried with this pod, really! I wanted to like this so much, and I gave it a good 20 episodes, but geez, the one lady(is it the lawyer?) is so disinterested, and generally on the verge of falling asleep.
