“I'm enjoying listening to the points of view (mostly now stuff about BPD), but am shocked how the doc is treating his partner (kudos for her boundary setting skills!). What about some nonviolent communication skills??? How do you wanna teach people how to feel uncomfortable in disagreement if you tell your own partner 'you are wrong!'???
It also boggles the mind how he can say that 'emotions have no place in therapy' - errr, excuse me?! Is therapy and LIFE not all about emotions? If you don't involve emotions, you'll be talking for ever and nothing happens. BPD is exactly NOT logical so you can't talk them out of it with logic.
Seems like doc needs more therapy himself, before helping others. Or is it a case of the hypcritical 'do as I say, not as I do'?”Read full review »

“But......WHY dishes clanging or water running
and other household noises going on EVERY week? Could you find a quiet room and shut the door or plan accordingly to carve time out to record when no one else is in the space? It's so distracting and annoying.”Read full review »

“I love listening to these podcasts in lieu of my school work.
I am working on cluster B personality disorders right now and the episodes on BPD and narcissism were very helpful !”

“Thank you for describing some traits in a way that I could understand as I am trying very hard to have a relationship with my daughter that doesn’t make me tear my hair out or cry.”
