Mixed bag for me
If I were rating this strictly on production quality (which I did), I would give it an unreserved five stars. I love the techniques used to brand the show. That said, after about a dozen or two episodes, I find myself burnt out on the often modernist/low view of Scripture that seems to underwrite much of the dialogue. That, of course, is largely a reflection of my own faith background. I would also posit that the (very occasional) obscenities may drive away some more conservative listeners. Overall, I maintain that this podcast offers a needed voice from “further left”, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a fair listen to anyone of any stripe.
