A Unique Format
Jim and Joe don’t have a fancy template for reviews, a 6 point scale, a gavel or even an award to hand out. Each episode is simply two gamers discussing some recent plays of a title and then presenting their impressions of the game this far. Sometimes a game can bomb in one episode only to open up in future episodes or start off as a hit and fizzle later on. That real take on games and openness to the ebb and flow of impression is what makes the Punching Cardboard podcast a gem in a sea of content creators all doing the same thing.
