“I've been absolutley bowled over by the depth and breadth of the movie criticism on Pure Cinema. Not sure how two guys with careers and families find the time to watch so many movies! But the Carpenter episode(s) are a new high, even for Pure Cinema. I'm always surprised how much Elric and Brian, both serious film critics, give respect to lesser known and forgotten films -- they have no problem mentioning The Red Shoes in the same breath as Messiah of Evil or Cathy's Curse. And I'm super impressed by the production of Pure Cinema -- great sound quality andf excellent use of audio clips and interviews. They've quickly risen to the top of my must-listen list.
