On October 11th each year, the world celebrates the International Day of the Girl Child. This year the theme is the Power of the Adolescent Girl, which is what we strive to celebrate in each episode of Push Play. Today, we'll hear from three young women who recall challenges from their own adolescence, and the strength they found to overcome them. We'll meet Laxmi from India, Sarah from the USA and Rosemary from Uganda, each of whom is a shining example of how powerful adolescent girls can be, and is an inspiration to others.
