This show will reshape how you see Black history
This is definitely not the sanitized Black history that we get in school and during Black history month. I found myself looking up so many of the pieces of history explored in the podcast that I had not known. And I am still mulling the central question that Jay keeps coming back to: “what does Black Liberation mean to you?” This is a now a must-have podcast for me.

I am a white woman continuing to learn about what I was not taught growing up. Thank you for telling this history. It is painful to learn what white people have done to black people but I believe it’s our responsibility to learn, listen and advocate for laws and attitudes to change.
