It was a happy day when Christopher Pyne retired from politics. Try as he did, he couldn’t quite destroy the Liberal Party. Here’s to his next gig: though it doesn’t pay as well as being a sycophant of the Miserable Ghost…

Give this a go. He still sounds like an insufferable Adelaide private school boy.. but comes across as quite down to earth and ready to laugh at himself. Worth a listen.

Great guests and discussion. I’d like to see some more diverse guests including former public servants and international guests when possible. Perhaps a 3 person panel format could work too. Shame you’re wrong about the dismissal though :)

This is an amazing podcast series. I didn't know quite what to expect. A laid back approach, mixed with quality guests and interesting talking points. Great podcast indeed!Read full review »

So pleased I unearthed this gem while searching for anything with Annabel Crabb. Christopher’s self promotion matched with his self deprecation, wandering detours and delightful humour had me laughing out loud. I’ve found a new unexpected podcast hero.

It’s great listening to a different side of this mischievous man. Full marks for interviewing women and those from the other side of politics. A true free-thinking ‘small L’ liberal.

I enjoy these podcasts - I learn a lot about Christopher and his time in Parliament and a little about the guests. Pyne makes me laugh out loud and he is very honest about himself eg Wyatt Roy asks “ Do the guests get to speak ? “ Oh yes says Christopher - about 20% of the time. Enjoyable listening.

I can’t believe I love this podcast! I can’t believe I love Christopher Pyne ... but I do! In a style all of his own be prepared to be surprised, entertained, informed, amused, and maybe even occasionally moved. Move over dreams of being Pope or PM, Christopher has finally found his calling....Read full review »

Pyne is engaging & entertaining. He makes me smile when my week often feels full of very serious matters. Then by the end I find I have smiled & learnt in equal measure. Well done CP

I’ve been listening to all of these over the last few days. Intelligent, funny, spontaneous, unscripted, informative, surprising and much more. Found myself laughing out loud on many occasions. Keep them coming Christopher!

Absolutely love listening to Christopher Pyne, love his sense of humour and intellect. I spread the word on this podcast to anyone who will listen. Such an interesting guest on this episode, but all guests have made riveting listening, with a good laugh. Keep the podcasts coming Christopher.

Intelligent, informative and hysterically funny listening. I finished listening to the last episode a few hours ago and I’m still giggling.
being_heidi via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/20/21
Honestly won’t be surprised if Chris gets his own talk show at some point (cc: @netflixau). Easy listening, entertaining, balanced and informative. I would recommend this to any Australian, regardless of their level of interest in politics.

Don’t overlook this podcast. Chris Pyne is very funny and Who doesn’t like a good laugh. He gives a great insight into Canberra with some excellent interviews.

The write up promises “guests you’ve never heard of” but is basically a who’s who of politics and a few celebrities; and probably the only female he remembers that interviewed him, Annabel Crabb. Nice try, nothing to hear here.

I was not a fan at all during Mr Pyne’s political career but as a podcast host, you Mr Pyne are great... when is season 2???
Heathsoldwares via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/18/20
A lot of fun. Christopher Pyne is, as he says, very engaging and likeable. Not the worlds best interviewer (too many of the anecdotes are about him) but one of the funnier ones. His constant references to having wanted to be prime minister a very amusing as is his questioning of almost every...Read full review »

When is Christopher going to cough up with some more Pyne time? Come on, you’re not on the parliamentary calendar anymore.

Fantastic podcast, well thought out and quite entertaining but it’s release schedule is as reliable as an LNP election promise.

I loathed him with a passion when he was education minster and would have to leave the room whenever he appeared. However seeing him with Anthony Albanese talking about doing a cooking show together made me wonder if there was more to Minister Pyne. I have been following him in this podcast and...Read full review »

Christopher Pyne is certainly witty and engaging - perhaps more than you might expect if you had only experienced him on Question Time or the 7.30 report. Interesting guests and good pace. But where it falls down is his real lack of empathy and understanding of his incredible privilege- a so...Read full review »

Thoroughly enjoy listening to Christopher. He’s getting better at actually interviewing rather than it being all about him but I actually love the way he does that too. Cracks me up!

So love this podcast! Christopher Pyne is my guilty pleasure. His energy & humour are brilliant! I have succumbed to what (according to the intro to this podcast) some people are calling ‘the Pyne effect’.

Really enjoying these podcasts but disappointed that the gender ratio of guests in this first series is so disproportionate. Any chance of hearing more female voices? It matters.

Absolutely hysterical. Dry, quick, intelligent humour. The best of Pyne. Loved his character as a pollie, but this guy gets better in retirement! Petition for JB to guest!!!

I am laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes listening to the Richard Marles episode. Christopher Pyne is just so funny. The interview is complete chaos but in a marvellous, entertaining way. Get into it!
