“When I listened to Episode 000, I was so excited that an intentionally diverse group of Christians gathered to have a conversation about how to engage culture regarding issues of race. I'm disappointed that a similar approach wasn't used for the following episodes about how to engage culture regarding issues of sexuality.
Imagine if Episode 000 had been designed like the other episodes. We would have listened to Christians with one perspective discuss their own ideas and comment on sound bites from Christians with other perspectives, without actually engaging in a conversation.
Q is about staying curious, thinking well, and advancing good. The best way to engage "The Gay Conversation" would be to gather an intentionally diverse group of Christians in terms of gender identity and sexual orientation. These believers would be able to listen to one another (stay curious), learn from one another (think well), and see one another as brothers and sisters with a shared identity in Christ and a shared mission to build the kingdom of God (advance good).”Read full review »
