We are really fortunate in Canada to have this level of quality. When you look at NPR or PBS in the states, while they both put out some interesting and even exceptional programming, especially in the latter's case, we have a tenth the population and an underdeveloped, underfunded media industry. Yet, we come up with something this simple, elegant, informative, and entertaining. As well as Kids In The Hall, Da Vinci's Inquest/City Hall, Durham County, and some of the best college radio I've ever come across.
