“I was pleasantly surprised by this. It really isn’t a bad book. I’ve downloaded quite a few audiobooks over the years by now, books I had to pay for quite dearly and to be honest this series is, if not among the best I’ve listened to, by far not the worst either. For you science fiction fans I’ve found this series to be on par with Elizabeth Moons “Vatta” series and even a notch above Jack Cambells “Lost Fleet” and Mike Shepherds “Kris Longknife” series. I mean, I did not expect audiobook quality from this (I presume) amateur production, but that is what I got. Mediocre when compared to some of top notch audiobook narrators and authors, but that should by all means not be taken as a criticism of this free podiobook. Again, I was most pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this to all science fiction fans. It is free after all.”
