Scratching my head
So, I’m enjoying the programme but there’s a bit of incongruous info from the beginning which I can’t seem to shake. At various times they describe her as “Irish royalty” and also hint that they left Ireland as a result of political and social upheavals. It would seem to me that anyone with a general knowledge of Ireland would appreciate that these two things are unlikely to apply to the same person/family and I can’t help but feel that had the people she came into contact with been slightly more astute in respect of world affairs her con would have been short lived.

I’m listening and it sounds like an interesting story but I have to be honest I can’t get past the lawyers voice. Sounds like Joey’s agent Estelle from friends. 😵‍💫

Good content but most commercials I’ve ever heard on a podcast

i love a good con story. But i’ve gotten fed up with the host’s misogynistic statements. in addition, the host is so naive that it’s clear he’d be incredibly easy to scam. to this day, he still thinks she is an actual psychic 🤦
