“So, I’m enjoying the programme but there’s a bit of incongruous info from the beginning which I can’t seem to shake.
At various times they describe her as “Irish royalty” and also hint that they left Ireland as a result of political and social upheavals. It would seem to me that anyone with a general knowledge of Ireland would appreciate that these two things are unlikely to apply to the same person/family and I can’t help but feel that had the people she came into contact with been slightly more astute in respect of world affairs her con would have been short lived.”
