Great podcast, but…
Great quality podcast. Very well-researched and presented. TJ is really intelligent and a pleasure to listen to. He, the co-host and guests clearly care about the content, and it shows. My one note is the theme music is mixed wayyyy too loud, and sometimes blasts my eardrums.

Accessible to non-scholars
I was surprised by how accessible this podcast is for people like me who are not film scholars! Even if I haven’t seen the film they’re talking about, they talk about bigger issues and ideas so I still get a lot out of it.
