Honest, interesting, and deeply human
Only the first podcast is out so far, but it was a beautiful exploration of the life and experiences of Cameron's wife and fellow comedian, Rhea Butcher. The interview covered all kinds of topics, generally forcusing on the personal and experiences related to identity. It was very free form, but it never felt too messy to follow along. There was a little cross talk that I imagine was from the dynamic of them being wives. Since they're both comedians it's no surprise that even among the very touching notes being hit there was also some humor. There was a cute segment at the end asking for her "queero" (queer hero). I think it's a very solid start and it's definitely not Cameron's first rodeo so there's no surprise there. I look forward to future episodes and seeing these topics from different perspectives. I recommend it!Read full review »
