The Simple Trick to Getting Podcast Invites
Q: "What’s something in a pitch that will immediately make the podcast host want to have that guest on?"
A: Lead off with presenting unique and valuable topics that are going to resonate with the host and their audience.
I always lead off all of my pitches with the top 2 or 3 topics that I think are going to bring the most value.
Why?
1. The host can quickly decide if it's 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺 a fit
2. If it is a fit, they can continue to read further. I've concluded a host doesn't mind reading a longer bio if they've already decided the topics presented are valuable to the audience. At that point, they are just confirming that the potential guest is qualified.
If you want to increase the number of invitations to podcasts you get - lead off your pitch with your most unique topics.
