“This podcast had potential, but as many other reviewers have already pointed out, hearing the hosts frequently talk over and interrupt the guests is incredibly frustrating. Sometimes it seems that Laiya intentionally derails conversations she's not personally interested in, even if everyone else in the room is clearly engaged. I have no idea why Unpaid Bill and Sugar Steve are in the room most of the time other than to make an occasional unfunny joke. And I'd bet money that the show's namesake is just reading the guest's Wikipedia page as he talks to them because he rarely asks some of the most obvious follow-up questions, and I've followed along on Wikipedia while listening a few times. On the positive side, Phonte often asks some really insighftul questions and follow-ups. And whatever happened to Boss Bill? You could often tell that he spent more than just a few minutes preparing for these interviews. Everyone else is obviously winging it.”Read full review »
