I stumbled across this doing research on a podcast idea around empathy. This is the best one yet by far. I like the approach and the willingness to listen to opposing views without it being too editorial. I also love the wide ranging subjects in the theme while subtly highlighting the theme....Read full review »

This podcast is such a wholesome space to have a free conversation and enjoy exposure to other opinions. Might not agree with everything shared but I respect the people and their experiences.

I love this show. It gives me insights on others perspective and a clear understanding. It’s been over a year and I still check to see if they uploaded any new episodes. Please don’t stop.

I have been watching jubilee on YouTube for almost a year now and they never fail to amaze me and open up my mind. I feel empathy for others is the most important thing to have in this world.

Sometimes the sound effects are a bit much but I think this is soooo entertaining.

The interviews are compelling and interesting so it’s extremely frustrating to be gripped by a story only to have it interrupted every 15-30 seconds just to hear a car driving down the road. Play it in the background, don’t pause the flow for random sound effects with no impact. Would prefer if...Read full review »

This podcast is great to open up you’re mind & see other views of life you may not hear about often. It shows people’s humanity even when they disagree on topics. That’s really rare in today’s age when it seems topics are becoming more & more polarized. Please make more episode’s! Loved...Read full review »

Every episode I finish I end up wishing was so much longer. Thank you John and the rest of the Jubilee team for giving me something to listen to and feel more like a being of this world and less like someone lost all alone in a southern state. You guys give me so much comfort.

This show is a great model for how we can use empathy to build bridges with people who are different than we are. I hope there will be more episodes in the future!

This podcast is so important right now. We do not often simply hear people out and actually listen to their point of view. The Heart of Whiteness especially helped me to understand some of the ways my own parents see the world. I need more episodes soon!!!

I just finished listening to “My Parents | Heart of Whiteness”. Parts of the podcast made me uncomfortable, not because of the podcast itself because this podcast is very well done. I was uncomfortable because there are so many people who still feel the way John’s parents do. I have wanted to...Read full review »

I just have to give John and the whole Jubilee family props. I’ve been interviewed a ton up to this point (150+ times), and this interview with John is hands down my favorite. This podcast is easy and fun to listen to while also being incredibly informing. The only reason I am giving this four stars was even acknowledged in the first episode. This podcast gives a proven false conspiracy theory a platform and equal ground as science, despite how the contradictions and...Read full review »

Thanks to John for having such a difficult conversation with his parent at such a controversial time. I think he was as always sympathetic and attentive to what he has to hear even though he does not agree with others’ views. John Regalado’s honesty and willingness to learn shows us all a way forward in this partisan world. We have to be able to talk to people we disagree with in a civil respectful way. John pulls it off with grace and love. Nice work!

I have enjoyed all the shows so far. I appreciate that you gave a voice to those who are protesting. I was disappointed that you didn’t present some balance to the claims made by protesters as without this the show is merely BLM propaganda.

I couldn’t even finish listening to episode 5. It felt like the host was using his whiteness as a shield. Not being objective. The hosts do such a good job mediating the conversations and preemptively express questions the listeners probably have in their minds while listening. The stories from these people are absolutely fascinating, but simultaneously relatable. I’m looking forward to listening to more.

1. I follow your yt channel religiously and you guys really teach me a lot every single video and let myself see things from a different perspective. 2. You guys should make an episode on the “boys locker room” talks thats going on in India.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of the podcast! The reason why I give a 3 stars review is that I HATE all the sound effects... it’s way to distracting having music over the person talking.
