An important show with an amazing ending
John’s warm, intelligent, and genuinely empathic approach unlocks a real and surprising conversation here—alone, an amazing feat. But to me the real magic and the real promise of “radical empathy” is in the ending, when the interviewee reciprocates this radical empathy to John when he shares his own very personal story. If we could bottle this approach of radical empathy we’d all live in a much better world. In the meantime, I look forward to many more episodes of this podcast. Well done. Keep them coming.
