In esoteric practice, there's a concept called "recapitulation", which is a "remembering" or a familiarity about a person/place/object, and when I connected with Lauren - I absolutely felt that feeling. About Lauren: Lauren McAlpin (they/them) is a writer, intuitive tarot reader, and reiki practitioner, currently working on a Masters in Psychology at Harvard Extension School. They hold a B.A. in English from Spelman College and M.A. in Luxury Brand Management from Savannah College of Art & Design. After battling kidney infections that developed into sepsis in the summer of 2018, Lauren made a decision to make a career shift from working in marketing in beauty/fashion for the last 9 years to follow their calling: spiritual and criminal justice.
