“I really wanted to like this cause, well, the Atlantic. There seems to be this trend of reporters/writers having these "lively" podcasts where they sit around talking about something they know. "The Weeds" is another one of these.
For me, these podcasts are mostly misses. Alll the speakers are soooo into trying to be funny or referencing pop culture, talking fast and over each other. Awful and more than a little pretentious. Like listening to what Aaron Sorkin edits out...
